Adivasi Girls Hostel is an ecosystem where hostel residents and staff work in harmony to make the stay of each and every resident as comfortable as possible. The hostel is for full-time under-graduate students.The hostel is allotted to the students in order of merit and distance of the applicants from various streams. Mostly preference is given to SC and ST students for hostel allottment. The hostel offers four-seater rooms with an intake capacity of 100 students. The hostel has a TV room, reading room, and sports room. the hostel is self-sustaining and has extensive lawns. The hostel is nestled in lush green surroundings with open courtyards. Guest rooms for visiting parents are also available. Mess facilities are also available for students serving both veg and non-veg dishes.The hostel is providing the students with a conducive atmosphere for study and learning.
The boarders of the hostel are required to adhere to the following rules and instructions:
1. The Father/Guardian of each boarder of the hostel will submit the names of the visitors in the visitors list at the time of admission in the hostel.
No visitors other than those mentioned in the list will be allowed to
visit any boarder.
2. Visitors are allowed to visit the respective boarders between 4.30
P.M. to 6.00 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays between 8.00 A.M. to
10.00 A.M. and between 4.00 P.M. to 6.00 P.M. Visitors are not
allowed to enter any room without obtaining specific permission of
the Superintendent.
3. A person shall be nominated by the Superintendent and she shall take a night roll call everyday at 6.00 P.M. and report to the Superintendent, the position of presence/absence of the boarders.
4. No boarder can remain absent from the hostel beyond college hours
without obtaining permission of the Superintendent.
5. No. boarder shall be allowed to stay outside over night except when
she goes to her Village/father/Guardian.
6. The gate of the hostel will always remain closed. It will remain locked
from 6.30 P.M. till 6.00 A.M.
7. No cell phone shall be used without the permission of the
Superintendent.
